Hey guys and gals, I just wanted to write a post about renting RV’s. I decided this year that I would rent my RV when I’m not using it. I would say a fair amount of campers are not full-timers, they just go for a week or two, or even just a weekend warrior.
Outdoorsy.com has a huge selection of campers that you can rent if you are looking for a camping get-away. Or, if you’re an RV owner and want to make a little extra money when you aren’t using your camper, list it for rent!
Cost: Free to list (20% fee to the owner, 10% to the renter)

“Everyone should have the access, choice and opportunity to get outdoors. With over a billion days of available RVs inventory, we realized we could make a difference in helping people access the world outside.
We don’t own a fleet of identical, anonymous RVs that have seen millions of miles. We’re a peer-to-peer marketplace. We connect RV owners with other campers like them who want the experience RVing without ownership.

Millennials Are Driving The Trend
Studies are showing that the older Millennials (those born in the early 80’s, of which I’m one) are taking to the outdoors in towable trailers, as opposed to the more expensive and luxurious RV’s.
Millennials have gotten a lot of grief lately for being lazy do-nothings, but that’s not always the case. There are very successful millennials out there that want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and go enjoy what mother nature gave us.
If you want that luxury of the RV with the nice amenities but can’t afford to buy one, Outdoorsy is a great place to rent one for a fraction of the cost. Especially if you don’t plan on camping all summer long, maybe just a week or two, it makes total sense to rent.
Step 1: Put in the location you are looking for
Step 2: Scroll through the listings to find the ideal camper for you
